Transformers - 10/08/2007

After a number of rather disappointing CGI outings like The Hulk, War of the Worlds and Rise of the Silver Surfer, Transformers is both refreshing and suprising for actually delivering a high octane and impressive array of effects. I liken this movie to a Sci-Fi version of Saving Private Ryan for the hectic yet very watchable battle sequences. War of the Worlds deserved this treatment but it took a kids cartoon made into a movie to deliver the goods.
