Hot Fuzz

This film has all the hallmark quirkiness of it's predecessors 'Spaced' and 'Shaun of the Dead' although the humour is a little more finely spread across the first two thirds of the movie culminating in a finale which is reminiscent of a Rambo or Dirty Harry movie, superbly over-the-top and comic strip multi-gun-totting action. The plot is a little more sophisticated than Shaun lending as usual, from various well known movies such as Wicker Man, Omen, the odd slasher movie etc. The sum total is greater than any individual part of this movie but it is all still very watchable.

Subscribed to LearnVisualStudio.NET website (Lifetime Subscription as at 02/2007 - $99) to access over 500 videos relating to this IDE and .NET technologies. This website is especially useful if you need extra exposure to the various ASP.NET methods to database access and data binding controls. As someone who has spent 16 years developing on mainframes (HP NonStop formerly Tandem Computers), this website is especially useful for re-programming my own mindset with third millenium approaches to client-server web form and data retrieval.
